How to get to the campsite
in Saint Nectaire
On the A75 take exit n°6, follow Champeix then Saint Nectaire.
We're just at the entrance to the village on the right-hand side of the road, on the hillside facing south.
On the A89, take exit 25, then follow the D2089 towards Clermont Ferrand, then Aydat, Murol and St Nectaire. Drive through the village, then turn left.

Frequently asked questions
That’s right! We’re protected by the Sancy massif, which faces in the direction of the prevailing wind. This means that in Saint Nectaire we benefit from a very appreciable microclimate. That said, we’re in a mid-mountain volcanic region, at an altitude of 700m. Certainly lower than Murol Chambon or Le Mont-Dore, but don’t forget to bring a sweater for the evenings.
There are several ways to feed yourself:
Saint Nectaire (1.5 km from the campsite) Vival.
Murol (6 kms away) Spar, Vival.
Champeix (12 kms away) Intermarché.
Besse (15 kms away) Auchan.
Issoire (25 kms away) Carrefour, Lidl, …
In Murol (6 kms) there’s a garage with a gas station.
In Champeix at Intermarché (12 kms), or in Besse at Auchan (15 kms).
For your electric vehicle, we have installed a 2x11KW charging station at the entrance to the campsite.
Yes, as long as you take precautions. Look where the nearest fire extinguisher is, don’t disturb your neighbors with smoke, put a bucket of water next to the fire, extinguish the embers at the end of the meal, and so on.
In the event of cancellation of your stay:
more than 30 days before the date of arrival, you will be charged the booking fee and your deposit will be refunded.
less than 30 days before the date of arrival, you will be charged the booking fee and the 30% deposit.
We remind you that we offer cancellation insurance when you book.
You can arrive from 12 noon and leave your pitch before 12 noon at the latest. If you arrive before noon, we will welcome you but your pitch may not yet be available.
For rent :
- Arrival from 4.00 p.m.
- In low season, if you arrive in the afternoon, you can call us to give us an approximate time of arrival.
- Departure in the morning after inventory of fixtures. No later than 11:00 a.m.
- Arrival and departure outside these times are possible, please contact us.
- In high season, arrival is from 3 p.m. If you arrive earlier, we cannot guarantee access to your rental, but you can make the most of the swimming pool or playground in the meantime.
- Departures are staggered from 8:00 am to 11:00 am by appointment at reception.
Yes, they are welcome. They must be kept on a leash throughout the campsite and their needs will be taken care of outside the campsite. There’s a path just opposite where there’s a field!
Do not leave your pet alone in the rental accommodation.
